When I was younger right after my grandmother passed away. My parentts had sent me to bed like they always did, and like always I had stayed up in my bed playing and also because I have a problem falling asleep right away, well about 30 min. later, still wide awake I started to get really cold really fast and as I looked around at the windows they were all closed so I covered up with my blankets thinking it was probably about time to go to bed anyways even though I wasn't tired at all and try to lay there starring at the ceiling like my mom suggested to do earlier, for some reason I pulled the blankets over my head and right after I did that I had felt like some one was sitting next to me on the bed, then I had felt some really big and, strong hands on my neck. It started to strangle me. I felt some one trying to pull the hands off my neck and when I felt the hands start to loosen from around my neck I pulled the blankets away from my head to see who was doing the strangling and i saw no one there but, what I did see was an imprint on my bed as if some one was still there strugling to get free. At that moment I had smelled my grandmothers perfume (The perfume my grandmother always wore every day and I haven't smelled it since she was alive.) The smell was really strong and I know from when I first smelled the perfume my grandmother was there to rescue me, then just as soon as I smelled the perfume and remembered it was her perfume I looked up still gasping for air, saw the furniture in my room shake one after the other as if some one was being slammed into them. I screamed before I realized my grandmother had to be winning the fight. That second I finnished screaming I felt the imprint again but this time I wasn't scared but, in fact comforted and still smelling my grandmothers perfume. When my mother finally arrived, she was gone and my mother had told me it was all a dream, and I let her beleive that but, I knew it was all real cause I had never fallen asleep. From, Heather |
